It is after an internship at imajing that I joined the team in August 2016, as a Support Engineer. After an initial period during which I was trained to use the whole chain of mobile mapping tools, I was able to be fully operational to strengthen the team and answer the questions and problems of a growing number of customers.
After obtaining a scientific baccalaureate and a master’s degree, I decided to train more extensively in Geographic Information Systems. I chose to intern with the imajing team to validate my GIS technician diploma.
Today, I have several roles in the company.
The first one is being the support team manager.
My expertise and knowledge of the imajing technologies and environment allow me to answer as well as possible and in collaboration with the team to the specific expectations of the customers. This role and this proximity with the customers also allow me to contribute largely to the evolution and the improvement of the tool chain.
I take part in tests and suggest new functionalities while keeping a close eye on the evolution of customer needs and expectations, which I report back to the development teams. At the same time, I oversee the trainings that we propose to our new customers as part of their hardware acquisition, so that they can master and optimize the use of imajing technologies and software.
Finally, I manage projects for clients who express the need to access a complete and ready-to-use solution for the maintenance, monitoring or consultation of data and information related to their infrastructures.
The maintenance of the French rail network is managed in part by three monitoring trains, whose role is to survey the different railway lines to detect any problems.
Several imajbox are permanently installed on these trains and my role is to manage the production and publication of the data on our online platform imajnet by working with the people on the field to allow permanent consultation and exploitation of this up-to-date and geo-referenced data.
I enjoy working in this field which is very versatile and rewarding.
My job requires me to know and master the entire imajing tool chain, giving me the opportunity to work in many areas in addition to pure GIS and allowing me to develop and extend my skills.
