Equipment Safety & Data Security
For many years, Imajing has worked closely with service companies and linear infrastructure managers to develop solutions that meet demanding safety and security requirements, both during field operations and throughout the management of collected data.
Equipment Safety
Safety is a fundamental priority when using our high-end mobile mapping solutions, particularly the Imajbox 3TX+ and Imajbox 360HD.
To meet the requirements of users and road and railway infrastructure managers, Imajing has developed several mounting systems adapted to different types of transport, including cars, trucks, trains and bicycles.
Each mounting system is designed to provide reliable attachment and optimal image acquisition. Its design takes into account the position of the Imajbox on the vehicle, operating conditions such as rain, high temperatures and vibrations, as well as the characteristics of the surface on which the equipment is installed.
The stability of every mounting system is a fundamental requirement within Imajing’s design specifications. Each support is developed according to strict criteria to minimise the risk of unintended release, accidents or damage to people, vehicles, equipment and infrastructure.
This requirement is particularly important in complex environments, such as heavily trafficked road networks and high-speed railway infrastructure. Under these conditions, the reliability of every mounting component is essential to the safe execution of operations and to protecting the integrity of road and railway assets.
Imajbox systems are supplied with a standard mounting kit equipped with high-quality suction cups.
Depending on the vehicle and operating conditions, Imajing can also provide mechanical or magnetic mounting systems.
For specific configurations, our teams can study and design custom-made supports adapted to your vehicle, working environment and safety requirements.
Safety Validation Process
Before any service operation, Imajing systematically verifies the compliance, stability and suitability of the mounting system in relation to the planned operating conditions.
Whenever required, a dedicated support is studied, designed and validated to meet applicable standards, field constraints, technical requirements and the client’s specific safety expectations.

Complete the FormData Security
Cybersecurity is one of the foundations of the Imajnet web service. Imajing pays particular attention to the protection, availability and confidentiality of the data entrusted to the platform by its clients.
Imajing operates server infrastructure hosted in Europe. This control over the technical environment enables Imajing to manage hosting conditions and respond efficiently to specific requests, maintenance operations and customer support requirements.
It also contributes to strengthening the protection of strategic, confidential and personal data stored on the platform.
Imajnet is based on infrastructure hosted in Europe and operated within a framework subject to European data-protection requirements.
The technical and organisational measures implemented are designed to preserve the confidentiality, integrity and availability of data, as well as its restoration following an incident.
Imajnet relies on regular backups and geo-replication across different storage locations situated in Europe.
The conditions governing the export, return, retention or deletion of data at the end of the service are defined with the client and governed by the applicable contractual provisions.
The processing of personal data is governed by the General Data Protection Regulation, Regulation (EU) 2016/679.
Article 32 of the GDPR requires the implementation of appropriate technical and organisational measures to ensure a level of security appropriate to the identified risks. This approach includes the confidentiality, integrity and availability of data, as well as the ability to restore access following an incident.
As part of this protection-by-design approach, elements that could enable individuals to be identified are automatically masked before the data is made available in Imajnet.
This processing may include faces and vehicle registration plates. It contributes to the implementation of the data-protection-by-design and data-protection-by-default principles established by Article 25 of the GDPR.
No information system can be described as completely invulnerable. Imajing therefore follows an approach based on prevention, monitoring, incident response and service restoration.
The measures implemented are adapted to the nature of the data being processed and to the identified risks.
To preserve the availability and integrity of information, Imajnet relies on regular backups and physical redundancy across different storage locations situated in Europe.
These measures are designed to reduce the risk of data loss and facilitate restoration following hardware failure, a technical incident or a cyberattack.
The French Data Protection Authority, the CNIL, notably recommends the implementation of appropriate backup procedures as part of the security measures covered by Article 32 of the GDPR.
At the end of an Imajnet subscription, the conditions governing the return, export, retention or deletion of data are defined with the client and governed by the applicable contractual provisions.
When Imajing acts as a data processor, Article 28 of the GDPR governs, among other matters, the handling of data at the end of the service, subject to any applicable legal retention obligations.
